A njegov izjemen povratek je je bil na koncu malce premalo, saj sta mu za peti zaporedni naslov prvaka Formule 1 zmanjkali dve to\u010dki, saj je Norris kon\u010dal na tretjem mestu.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Ni bilo povsem dovolj, pa \u0161e en Red Bull proti dvema McLarnoma,&#8221;<\/em> je Marko povedal v paddocku v Abu Dabiju. <em>&#8220;Max je odpeljal super kon\u010dno dirko in mislim, da s to strategijo nismo mogli narediti ni\u010d drugega. Nobenega varnostnega avtomobila, dirka je bila prakti\u010dno samo na \u010delu in brez dogajanja.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Na \u017ealost smo pri\u010dakovali, da bosta Leclerc in Russell hitrej\u0161a, pa nista bila.&#8221; <\/em>V razburkani sezoni 2025 se je Verstappen iz 104 to\u010dk zaostanka vrnil v igro za naslov na zadnji dan in bil blizu eni najbolj\u0161ih vrnitev v zgodovini Formule 1.<\/p>\n<p>A \u010deprav je 28-letnik storil vse, da bi sezono kon\u010dal na vrhu, razplet ni bil na njegovi strani. McLarnova pametna odlo\u010ditev, da razdelijo strategiji med Norrisom in Piastrijem, je pomenila, da Verstappen ni mogel strniti skupine.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Dokler sta bila na drugem in tretjem mestu, ni bilo mogo\u010de storiti ni\u010d. McLaren je pametno postavil Piastrija na trde gume. Zato nismo mogli upo\u010dasniti in strniti celotnega polja, ker bi imel od tega najve\u010d Piastri,&#8221;<\/em> je nadaljeval Avstrijec.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Problem je bil, da Ferrari in Mercedes nista bila dovolj mo\u010dna. Ferrari je zdr\u017eal pet, \u0161est krogov, potem pa so gume popustile. Ponosen sem, da smo se iz 104 to\u010dk pribli\u017eali na dve.
