Tyrrell P34 \u2013 Edini \u0161estkolesni dirkalnik, ki je zmagal na dirki Formule 1<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">Leta 1982 je \u0161estkolesni Williams FW08B napovedal konec \u0161estkolesnih dirkalnikov Formule 1, ki so bili prepovedani zaradi varnostnih in prakti\u010dnih razlogov. Arrows A2 \u2013 Kako leteti brez kril<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Dirkalnik Formule 1 brez krilc? Arrows A2 je bil zasnovan prav s tem namenom, vendar, ker so ga uporabljali le polovico sezone 1979, nikoli ni zares &#8220;poletel&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Osupljiva zasnova Tonyja Southgata je imela sprednje krilo name\u0161\u010deno tik nad sprednjim vzmetenjem, zadnje krilo pa med zadnjimi kolesi, z namenom usmerjanja zraka pod dirkalnik pri visoki hitrosti in ustvarjanja potisne sile prek talnega u\u010dinka. Lotus je to poskusil z modelom Lotus 80, vendar sta on in Mario Andretti po le treh nastopih leta 1979 obupala.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Arrows je vztrajal, vendar so dirkalnik testirali veliko manj intenzivno kot Lotus. Brabham BT46B \u2013 Da, to je tisti z ogromnim ventilatorjem<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">Brabham BT46B je koncept talnega u\u010dinka popeljal na novo raven, ko je leta 1978 Gordon Murray upal, da bo s svojim dirkalnikom z ventilatorjem pometel s konkurenco.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">Lotus je z modelom 79 spro\u017eil ero talnega u\u010dinka in Brabham je moral najti na\u010din, da ga ujame. Te\u017eava je bila v Alfinem ogromnem, ploskem motorju, zaradi katerega je bilo te\u017eko zagotoviti prazen prostor pod BT46B in ustvariti vakuum, potreben za u\u010dinkovit talni u\u010dinek.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">Tukaj je nastopil BT46B, ki je bil na zadku opremljen z ogromnim ventilatorjem. Lotus 56B \u2013 Plinska turbina na kolesih<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">Lotus je na\u010drtoval platformo, ki bi bila konkuren\u010dna tako na dirki Indy 500 kot v Formuli 1 in \u0161ef ekipe Colin Chapman je \u017eelel, da je to model 56 \u2013 dirkalnik klinaste oblike na pogon s plinsko turbino, brez menjalnika ali sklopke.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">Potem ko je skoraj zmagal na Indy 500, so Lotus 56 leta 1971 pripeljali v Formulo 1 in \u017ee sam motor je dovolj, da 56B postane eden najbolj nenavadnih dirkalnikov Formule 1 vseh \u010dasov.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">Prvotno zasnovana za helikopterje in uporabljena celo v vlaku UAC TurboTrain naj bi plinska turbina Pratt &amp; Whitney tehtala pol manj kot takrat vodilni Cosworthov DFV, a proizvedla vsaj 50 KM ve\u010d. \u0160tirikolesno gnani 56B je nastopil na treh neprvenstvenih dirkah in treh dirkah za VN, z najbolj\u0161o uvrstitvijo na osmo mesto, ki ga je dosegel Emerson Fittipaldi na VN Italije 1971. March 711 \u2013 &#8220;Pladenj za \u010daj&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15\">Podobno kot Lotus 72 je March 711 imel ob straneh name\u0161\u010dene hladilnike in ogromno zadnje krilo v obliki pladnja. Toda tam, kjer se je March o\u010ditno razlikoval, je bil sam sprednji del.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15\">Ogromno sprednje krilo, ki je krasilo dirkalnik, je dobilo vzdevek &#8220;Tea Tray&#8221; (pladenj za \u010daj). Ovalno letalsko krilo je le\u017ealo ravno na nosilcu v obliki rilca na nosu dirkalnika. Life L190 \u2013 Ne V, ampak W<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17\">Italijanski konstruktor Life Racing Engines je v Formuli 1 pre\u017eivel eno sezono in se mu ni uspelo predkvalificirati na nobeno od 14 dirk, na katere so se prijavili.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17\">Njihov L190 na pogled ne deluje nenavadno, toda tisto, kar se skriva pod karoserijo, vsekakor je. Ekipa se ni odlo\u010dila za motor V8, niti za V10 ali V12, temve\u010d za motor W12. Motorni prostor je imel tri vrste s po \u0161tirimi valji.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17\">Nekdanji Ferrarijev in\u017eenir Franco Rocchi je prisegal na kompaktno zasnovo &#8220;W&#8221;, ki naj bi ponujala enako mo\u010d kot V12, a zavzela manj prostora. Na \u017ealost je W12 nudil zelo malo mo\u010di in zanesljivosti.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17\">V predkvalifikacijah za uvodno dirko sezone 1990 v Phoenixu je L190 zaostal za skoraj 40 sekund za najbolj\u0161im \u010dasom, pa vendar ni bil zadnji. Ta neslavna \u010dast je pripadla dirkalniku Coloni C3B, ki je imel Subarujev bokserski 12-valjnik in je dosegel predkvalifikacijski \u010das 5:15.010, ob katerem je Lifov \u010das 2:07.147 izgledal bliskovito hiter. Tyrrell 025 \u2013 Rojstvo &#8220;X-kril&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"19\">Tyrrell 025 je bil plod mo\u010dnega razvoja na osnovi dirkalnika iz leta 1996, a ko so ga leta 1997 razkrili, se je zdelo, da je v primerjavi s prej\u0161njo razli\u010dico malo sprememb.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"19\">Pravzaprav je bila pozornost usmerjena na prehod z Yamahinega V10 na Fordov V8 in na nos, ki je bil visoko nad preprostim sprednjim krilom. Do tretje dirke sezone pa je Tyrrellovo iskanje potisne sile, ob pravilniku, ki je zapovedoval pnevmatike z utori in o\u017eji kolotek, ubralo nenavadno pot, saj so iz njegovih stranskih delov zrasla krila.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"19\">Ta krila, poimenovana &#8220;X Wings&#8221;, so se dvigala vi\u0161je od zadnjega krila dirkalnika in ustvarjala dodatno potisno silo, kar je pri\u0161lo prav na uli\u010dnih stezah, kot je Monako, kjer je Tyrrell po zaslugi Mike Sala s 5. mestom osvojil svoje edine to\u010dke v sezoni. Ferrari 126C2 \u2013 Ali vidim dvojno?<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21\">Ne gre za ponesre\u010deno obdelavo slike, temve\u010d za resni\u010den poskus Ferrarija, da izkoristi luknjo v pravilniku Formule 1 iz leta 1982 in na zadek svojega 126C2 za VN ZDA Zahod v Long Beachu namesti dve zadnji krili.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21\">Re\u010di, da je bila sezona 1982 polna napetosti, bi bilo premilo. Ligier JS5 \u2013 &#8220;\u010cajnik&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"23\">Takoj je jasno, zakaj Ligierjev prvi dirkalnik v Formuli 1, model JS5, pri \u010demer je JS poklon preminulemu dirka\u010du Formule 1 Joju Schlesserju, ki je bil tesen prijatelj Guya Ligierja, velja za posebnost.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"23\">Tisti visoki zra\u010dnik je modelu JS5 z Matrinim V12 motorjem prinesel vzdevek &#8220;teapot&#8221; (\u010dajnik), \u010deprav je bil dirkalnik zaradi zna\u010dilne modre barve presenetljivo podoben tudi Smrkcu. Visoki zra\u010dniki so bili v 70-ih pogosti, modeli Maki F101, Shadow DN5 in McLaren M23 so bili vsi odli\u010dni primeri tega trenda raztegovanja zra\u010dnika do neba, da bi motor dobil ve\u010d zraka.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"23\">Z izbo\u010denim dovodom zraka je Jacques Laffite z JS5 zasedel 4. mesto na VN ZDA Zahod leta 1976. Visoki zra\u010dniki so bili od Belgije naprej prepovedani in prav tam je Ligier osvojil svoje prve stopni\u010dke v Formuli 1, z nadaljnjimi uspehi v Avstriji in Italiji.
