Dirka na zgodovinskem dirkali\u0161\u010du Watkins Glen se je namre\u010d odvijala v neznosni vro\u010dini, Grosjean pa je moral za volanom Lamborghinijevega dirkalnika pre\u017eiveti tri ure brez osnovnih sredstev za uravnavanje telesne temperature.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"648\">V Grosjeanovem dirkalniku ni deloval sistem za hidracijo, prav tako pa ni imel klimatske naprave ali hladilnega jopi\u010da, kar je zelo nevarna kombinacija. Francoz je bil prihodu iz kokpita vidno izmu\u010den in na robu iz\u010drpanosti. <em>&#8220;Popolnoma sem kuhan in vem, kaj to pomeni,&#8221;<\/em> je nekdanji dirka\u010d Formule 1 \u0161e vedno fizi\u010dno na\u010det povedal za <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autosport.com\/\">Autosport<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"650\" data-end=\"1132\">Francoz, ki se je po koncu kariere v Formuli 1 preusmeril v ameri\u0161ke serije, vklju\u010dno z IndyCar in zdaj IMSA, je znova pokazal izjemno odpornost. Tokratni izziv ni bil spektakularen trk, temve\u010d dolgotrajna fizi\u010dna obremenitev v zaprtem in pregretem kokpitu, ki lahko dirka\u010du hitro vzame koncentracijo ali ga celo prisili k odstopu.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1134\" data-end=\"1658\">Kljub te\u017ekim okoli\u0161\u010dinam se Grosjean ni predal. Z ekipo Iron Lynx je dirkalnik \u0161t. 63 pripeljal z 11. \u0161tartnega mesta do kon\u010dnega sedmega, kar v konkurenci tovarni\u0161kih mo\u0161tev in vrhunskih dirka\u010dev nikakor ni zanemarljiv dose\u017eek. Poudarek pa tokrat ni bil na rezultatu, temve\u010d na fizi\u010dni in mentalni mo\u010di, ki jo je pokazal. Vzdr\u017eljivostne dirke pogosto potekajo v zahtevnih razmerah, a tokratne okoli\u0161\u010dine so bile skrajne.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1660\" data-end=\"2028\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Dirko sta sicer dobila Tom Blomqvist in Colin Braun z ACURO ARX-06.
